Cemetery Offerings

Ground Memorials

Resurrection Cemetery requires that all memorials be cast bronze, installed on Moonlight Gray granite, with or without a vase. We also require a one-time maintenance fee, a setting fee and Oklahoma sales tax. All memorials must be approved by Cemetery Management before installation.

Individual

An individual or single memorial (for one person), requires that the bronze size be either 24” x 12”, 24” x 14” or 16” x 24”, on the appropriate size of granite. Other than the name and full dates, the family is allowed a choice of up to three (3) emblems, and may have an endearment of up to six (6) words.

Companion

A companion memorial (for two persons) requires that the bronze size be 16” x 24”, 36” x 13”, 44” x 14”, 56” x 16”, the largest being 60” x 20”, on the appropriate size of granite. Other than the name and the standard birth and year dates, the family is allowed a choice of up to three (3) emblems, and may have an endearment of up to six (6) words. If full dates of birth and death are desired, there is an additional cost which will be clarified upon request.

Veteran

The standard government furnished Veteran memorial is a 24” x 12” bronze memorial only and is provided at no charge from the Department of Veteran Affairs. To be eligible, a Veteran is one who has served in any of the six (6) branches of service for at least one year of “active” duty. Reservists and National Guard members may be eligible if certain criteria are met. Veteran arrangements as far as setting them on granite as single or companion are available, providing various options and prices.

Vaults

Outer Burial Containers, or Vaults, are rigid concrete, metal, or plastic vaults that the casket is placed inside of for burial. Vaults are then sealed and the grave is closed. Outer burial containers are required to help prevent cave-ins of graves as machinery and vehicles are needed to open and close nearby graves. Vaults provide an additional layer of protection, as a casket would likely collapse as the dirt is placed on top.

We sell two (2) types of concrete outer burial containers on a preneed (before a death has occurred) and at need (after a death has occurred) basis.
Urn Vaults are rigid plastic vaults that the Urn is placed inside of at burial. Vaults are then sealed and the grave is closed.

Flowers

Flowers are allowed in memorial vases at any time of year. Flowers on graves are allowed from November 1st to February 1st, in accordance with our mowing season. Our office has a large selection of Silk Flowers that are available to purchase. Silk Flowers purchased at our office can be placed by the family or given to our staff to place as instructed.

Our office sends a flower order form once a year for Memorial Day and for Christmas. These orders are sent to families on or around April 1st of each year, with a selection of flowers available to purchase. The forms can be mailed or dropped to our office. We can also take email orders. We no longer accept phone orders for Memorial Day and Christmas Arrangements. Phone orders for any other time of year will be accepted.
